Break the CYCLE

I have been through so much these last few years, at times it has felt like spinning wheel trying to jump off but can't out of fear of dying. A bit dramatic, but all too true. I remember even relating it to feeling of the movie " Groundhog Day", where he repeats the same day over and over until he gets it right. With all of this awareness of myself there has come with it such a weight to do something about it. I love how so many have rallied with black people to really take on systemic racism , oppression and slavery that we have endured for centuries. While history repeats itself, I believe the impact of this time around is that of a completely different magnitude. I feel like its a critical time for a lot of us a individuals to stand up and make the change or run the risk of repeating some of the same mistakes we should have learned from. I think of how growing up, we see things our parents do and say and we think "when I have kids I will never do that" or "I will never grow up to be like them" and a lot of times that's exactly what happens. I don't mean to say it as a joke, but it is kinda funny. We have all the power to make the change in our life and most find themselves in the same or similar patterns of our ancestors. The change concept is defined as : a general notion or approach to change that has been found to be useful in developing specific ideas for changes that lead to improvement. Creatively combining these change concepts with knowledge about specific subjects can help generate ideas for tests of change.

I love how it mentions improvement and creatively combining with knowledge about specific subjects can HELP generate ideas for change. YOU never know until you try!! Whatever it is that is bothering you and you want to see a CHANGE...do something about it! BE the CHANGE YOU want to see in this world. Make the change and the shift into becoming a better person, the person you want to see. BE the one who finally speaks out for injustice or the speaking up for the one who doesn't have the strength to do it themselves. Be the one to break poverty or obesity out your families life, BE the one to bring reconciliation. BE the one to love again.. Whatever it is the time is now; there is no better time than the present.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Galatians 6:9
