Maimunah Sharp
So much has happened in Maimu's life since this interview I did over 4 years ago. She has grown so much as a WOMEN and PERSON. Not without it's challenges but she continues to serve as an example that its not about the destination but the JOURNEY. When I think of her, so many sayings come to mind.
"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger"
"Walk by faith"
"He who finds a wife finds a good thing"
(REAL TALK ON THAT LOL)
"Hard work pays off"
and the saying that serves as a mantra for her
"I can do ALL things through Christ that strengthens me"
She was actually the very FIRST person I interviewed when this blog was a mere IDEA. As my older sister, holds a place of admiration for me and continues to inspire me and many young lives around her. She is STRENGTH and POWER defined in the best feminine way. The way she holds space for her family and for people in need, the way she allows her FAITH to DRIVE her through lives many challenges and just her INTENSE ability to LOVE. She is definitely the Mama bear.
In her story we navigated through being a blended family, mom, wife, working towards her career and dreams at the time and being a BELIEVER through it all. Here's her story.

Of late, she has started her own business selling lashes @zealouslashesllc and has a YouTube channel with her husband @westilldo where the talk about the ends and outs of marriage through their personal experiences. Check them both out!!!!!

PATRICE OKOTIE
Mother of five, wife and teacher. This momma lives a life of constant responsibility and non stop on the go. .... Her love and fighting spirit for her family has always inspired me. She has been subjected to a lot pain and trauma but she hasn't let any of that stop her and steal her joy.

SARAH MAJOR
Sarah has a dear place in my heart. She was one of my first "Jesus friends" and walked close with me on prayer during our first few years of marriage and motherhood. She has grown so much as a woman of faith and as a mother, wife, and entrepreneur. I remember starting our health food journey together ( along with so many other things in life) but she just really grabbed ahold of this and has been running with it ever since and it has brought her to so pretty amazing places.

MORIAH
CRAWFORD
My big little sister! I can't explain how proud I am to have her as my sister but as a woman of "beating the odds". Although she's only 23 she has the beautiful soul and wisdom of someone well into her 30's. Growing up as the youngest of 14 she has had a lot of different examples and opinions thrown her way but one of the things I admire about her is that she truly follows her heart.
