ABOUT ME

Mubinah
Mother, Author, Blogger, and more....
I am a proud mother of three, soon to be four, building a life full of love, growth, and intention alongside my husband and our two bonus children—together, a beautifully blended family. Navigating a family of seven, soon to be eight, can be both demanding and deeply transformative, but it remains one of my greatest blessings—teaching me patience, grace, and unconditional love every single day.
Beyond motherhood, I am a seeker, a dreamer, and a believer—always in pursuit of truth, growth, and a higher way of living. I hold an associate’s degree in psychology, and I am deeply passionate about helping others grow, heal, and become the best versions of themselves.
I am also the author of Hey Sis, I Hope You’re Healing and its companion coloring book—projects that were birthed from my own journey of healing, faith, and restoration. With several more projects on the way, I continue to use my voice and creativity to inspire, uplift, and encourage others along their paths.
In addition, I serve as a creative dance instructor at my local church, where I pour into the next generation through movement, mentorship, and expression. My heart is especially rooted in supporting youth and women—creating spaces where they feel seen, encouraged, and empowered in their journeys.
This blog was born out of a season in my life that felt, to put it plainly, overwhelming and chaotic. I remember thinking, why doesn’t anyone talk about this? There were moments I felt alone, navigating things I wasn’t prepared for—but in that same space, I discovered a strength, resilience, and capacity to love and grow that I never knew I had. What began as a personal outlet has since evolved into something deeper: a space to share my truth, my experiences, and my growth, while inviting other women to do the same. Because when we open up, we realize we’re never truly alone—and together, we can heal, grow, and rise.
